Barbara was born in Poland and
came to California via New York. She has graduated from the Horticultural
Department at Foothill Community Collegeand now she is working
towards a degree in Evironmental Horticulture at UC Davis.
She works as a maintenance manager
at a golf course which is

using reclaimed
water on the fairways |
| |
using organic slow
release fertilizer |
| |
has installed sprinkling
systems controlled by a weather station |
| |
has returned the
rough areas on the course to native plants and wild life. |
